Our purpose
WhatTimeHere is an independent utility and educational website. It answers the immediate question “what time is it here?” while explaining the date, regional zone and UTC offset that give the answer meaning.
How the clock works
The website uses your device clock and the time-zone name supplied by your browser. The world clock uses the same standards to format the current moment for selected cities. It does not request your precise GPS location.
More everyday tools
WhatTimeHere also includes public holiday calendars, date and business-day calculators, timers, a stopwatch, Sun and Moon calculations, planet positions, worldwide weather and international tide-station predictions. See the sources and coverage for each tool.
Our principles
- Make the answer visible immediately.
- Keep the clock free and usable without an account.
- Explain limitations and changing daylight-saving rules.
- Publish original, plain-language time-zone guidance.
